Automotive International is a full-service automotive repair and body shop focusing on Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other luxury vehicles. The company also provides restoration, customization, and storage for high-end British, Italian, and German automobiles. While the company had high-quality content, they were not able to adequately showcase their company’s capabilities online.
Where we started.
When we first met with CEO, Peter Nikonovich, it was clear that the website was in no way representative of the company’s impressive classic and exotic car selection, nor the level of clientele that frequented the establishment. The website was difficult to manage, ranked poorly on search engines, and was not built to scale.
To make matters worse, the website did not feature many of the services, client cars, projects, awards, or other differentiating factors that make Automotive International unique. It was clear the site needed to be rebuilt in a visually appealing and easy-to-manage fashion.

Developing the Website
The first step in developing the website was the collection and organization of all existing content, including pictures of all of the cars from different angles. Needless to say, that was a huge undertaking in and of itself!
Once the pictures and web copy were organized, the focus turned to the information architecture and site structure. We wanted to give Automotive International a scalable website that could grow as they did, so we built the site in a modular fashion with custom post types, blog sections, and easy-to-manage style guides for each area of the website.
After three weeks and a little bit of training for the staff, the website was launched and began showcasing the Automotive International brand in a way that properly represented Charlotte’s best international car company.
The website has evolved over the years — as was the intention when we launched it over four years ago — but it still runs on the great WordPress engine that we built back in 2016.
After the initial website project, our agency engaged Automotive International on an ongoing basis, managing their search engine marketing and social media advertising.

Automotive International’s web presence has certainly seen an upward trend since Peter initially approached our team in 2016. By strategically building the site in a way that’s not only optimized for search engines, but is scalable enough to support business growth and success, we created a space for Charlotte’s best international car company to showcase its unique offerings, increase site traffic, and improve conversions.
