Josh Mangum // Founder & CEO
Josh Mangum splits time between our Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, and Kannapolis, NC offices and leads business operations for the agency. Josh is considered a demand generation and inbound marketing expert with over 20 years of experience in inbound marketing. Josh’s core competencies lie in digital marketing strategy, process automation, search marketing, & performance-driven advertising. Josh founded WiT Group in 2011 as a personal consultancy and launched WiT Group as a full-service agency in 2019. Josh leads marketing strategy for the company and has developed many of the processes and tactics that have made the company so successful. Using an objective-based marketing approach, Josh helps organizations of any size reach their full potential by examining marketing objectives and tailoring strategic marketing solutions to achieve long-term company goals.
Aidan Eaton // Partner & Creative Director
Aidan Eaton, based in our Charlotte, NC, office, has worked on hundreds of high-profile SEO consulting and corporate website design projects. He oversees the creative vision for every web and digital strategy project, aligning design, messaging, and performance with client goals. Aidan stays busy building cohesive SEO strategies, developing websites, and refining customer journeys for dozens of global-reaching companies. Aidan is dedicated to creating strategies that work, tracking the success of his work, and refining is a cornerstone of his process, defining all projects by their impacts on the client’s bottom line.
Sheelah Smith // Director of accounts
Sheelah Smith, based in our Kannapolis, NC office, is the Director of Accounts at WiT Group. In this role, she works closely with the production team to ensure account success, manages key client relationships, and introduces prospective new clients to our performance-based advertising services. Sheelah plays a key role in assessing client needs, developing targeted sales strategies, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Dave Teller // Director of Digital Marketing
Dave Teller, based in Columbia SC, is the Director of Digital Marketing for WiT Group. He oversees SEO and digital advertising efforts, including leading the ads management team. Dave develops and implements digital branding and lead generation strategies to ensure clients achieve their desired online results. He also creates specialized reports and performs statistical analysis, serving as a technical expert to support the agency’s digital initiatives.
Shane Sumang // Operations Manager
Shane Sumang, based in Charlotte NC, is the Operations Manager for WiT Group. She is essential to our daily operations and organizational efficiency. Based in a multifaceted role, Shane oversees project management, coordinates internal processes, and facilitates seamless communication across the company. Shane’s expertise and dedication keep everything running smoothly.
Brittany Degnan // Web Development & SEO Specialist
Brittany Degnan, based in our Columbia, SC office, is the Web Development and SEO Specialist at WiT Group. In this role, she handles on-site optimization, technical audits, and content strategy for the brands we manage, ensuring each website performs at its best across all platforms. Brittany develops and implements SEO, AEO, and AIO strategies, manages site structure and schema, and tracks performance across search and AI-generated results. She plays a key role in improving visibility, strengthening digital presence, and making sure each brand is built to be found.
Ashley Hock Smith // Events Coordinator
Ashley Hock Smith, based at our Columbia SC office, is the Events Coordinator at WiT Group. In this role, she plans, organizes, and executes events for all the brands we manage, ensuring each event runs smoothly and aligns with our strategic goals. Ashley works closely with clients and the internal team to coordinate logistics, manage event timelines, and deliver memorable experiences. She plays a key role in creating impactful events that enhance brand visibility and foster strong client relationships.
Cory Sayyeau // Videographer
Cory Sayyeau, based in our Columbia, SC office, is the Videographer for WiT Group and Witcraft. In this role, he manages all aspects of video production, from filming and editing to lighting and sound, creating sharp, professional content that supports each brand’s message. Cory produces creative video ads, interviews, and branded content, bringing stories to life through clean visuals and thoughtful direction. He plays a key role in making sure every frame reflects the brand and connects with the audience.
Hilari Yeatts // Social & Email Marketing
Hilari Yeatts, based in our Kannapolis, NC office, is the Social & Email Marketing Manager for WiT Group. In this role, she manages client communication across email and social platforms, building consistent campaigns that keep each brand present and top of mind. Hilari handles scheduling, content coordination, audience engagement, and performance tracking, making sure every message delivers value. She plays a key role in connecting brands with their audience and maintaining a steady rhythm across platforms.
